We’re excited to share a taste of coffee’s historical origins with these indigenous heirloom cultivars from the southern region of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia.
This organic coffee comes from the Hafursa Cooperative, made up of 800–900 smallholder farmers, each tending plots of less than 3.7 acres at elevations of 6,200–7,500 feet. Their coffee trees are grown alongside bananas and other nitrogen-fixing crops, supporting healthy soils and long-term sustainability.
In the cup, expect elegant floral aromatics and tea-like jasmine notes with a raisin sweetness. Recommended for light roast fans with an adventurous palette.
